Episode 32 – David Zimmer sits down with Imran Ali

CAE Public Safety Policy Fellow David Zimmer sits down with Imran Ali to discuss the anti-police movement in Minnesota.  Ali resigned his position as Assistant Washington County Attorney in 2021 shortly after his charging decision in the officer involved shooting case involving Brooklyn Center Police Officer Kim Potter.  Hear the story behind his charging decision and his eventual resignation from public prosecution. He’s now serving as general council for the Minnesota Police & Peace Officers Association (MPPOA).
